Fujifilm's GX617 shoots unique 6x17 medium format images that should really be considered large format based on surface area of the negative. Other cameras can do this, but none are as readily acquirable and cost effective as the Fuji GX617. This model allows for interchangeable lenses and requires helical focusing, while framing is done through an external, dedicated viewfinder attached to the top of the camera while shooting.
Shooting this camera is very similar to shooting on large format cameras due to the large format lens and shutter release. While a cable release can be used for electromagnetic release of the lens' shutter, a built-in release is also present for shooting with just a flick of the finger.
A single roll of 120 film yields four massive frames at 6x17cm on this camera. I've successfully reproduced printed, tack sharp images from drum scans of this film at nine feet long.
